Supporting Your New Perch
While it's not absolutely required, sometimes we will recommend that you purchase a column to support your perch. Our perches are usually bigger/heavier than what you are replacing. Please consider doing this now when making your selection.
Ordered two custom length Sisal scratching posts to replace the older and smaller diamiter posts that had outlived their viability. Much better replacement than the original part. Only issue I had was the bolt size on my cat tree was different than the thread part of the replacement piece. Luckily I had an extra bolt from another cat tree to use. Right bolt is the original size, left was what I used in it's place.

Jacki was a breeze to deal with, since she knew what type of hardware she needed, and she knew precicely the langth of columns she needed, as well as whether she had any MALE ENDS (permanently installed rods on an end of a column). The replacement piece ordered fits perfectly in my car tower. The boys are very happy. The replacement is much sturdier than the original piece
Suzanne has a rather elegant Chewy cat tree (Frisco 41' Faux Fur in charcoal), that sits in a equally elegant setting. This cat tree restoration will soon be featured on the website, and we thank Suzanne for her photos of the transformation. We were having a difficult time finding the exact height (19”) of replacement posts for our Frisco cat tree. After trying and failing on Amazon a few times, I found this site, and messaged the owner. They got back to me right away and were almost positive they had what we were looking for. They were right! The posts look a little different than the ones the tree came with (they have a much wider diameter/circumference ), but that doesn’t affect how they fit on the tree. I happily just bought two more for the future as our boys love their scratching posts!
